On Del's 18th birthday, the celebrations began at the paddocks where we all, very excited gathered to begin our girly weekend. After the presents, photos and drinks with Lorraine and Geoff, we set off in a limo (yes limousine!) to Cardiff! (Soo Del!) We drank champers (maybe sparkling wine) all the way, listened to songs. Del's favourite of the year (1999) (attached) permanently on repeat! It was our first luxury weekend in a luxury hotel and we really lived it up, Delboy style. Naturally the obvious thing for us to do was to pretend that we were in a girl band to anyone and everyone we met throughout the weekend. (Sure we were very convincing) We shopped, ate, drank and partied. Being as Del loves to be surrounded by friends, family and parties, birthdays are always very important to her. She had mentioned over the years that her birthday was bad timing so close to Christmas, so it came as no surprise when last year Del announced, 'The Queen has two birthdays, why shouldn't I?' She promptly went ahead and planned her 30th part one, in the summer! As everybody who has been lucky enough to share Del's Birthdays with her will know, she is infectious and you are guaranteed a great time! xx
